A Personal Message from Jim

After 10 years of writing a regular weekly column, I took a year off writing my articles to recharge and refocus. I’ve used that year to finish some important projects like my new book, Smart Tips for Estate Planning written with my good friend Marvin Toy. I’ve been helping people organize their estates and finances with my software program My Estate Organizer. And I’ve even started some new and exciting projects. I continue to deliver my financial and retirement workshops and most importantly, I have spent a lot of quality time with my wife and 4 boys.
Back to work

It’s been a great year but now I am ready to get back at it. I will be resuming my column again and I am especially committed to getting these articles to the people that want to read it. In the past, I just took it for granted that people would be able to find my articles in the newspapers and online but I’ve had many people ask how they can receive my articles on a regular basis. If you are interested in getting regular updates on good quality information (as opposed to sale pitches), either sign up for my Bright Ideas newsletter or follow me on Twitter.

Thank you

I continue to be amazed at the growing popularity of my articles. My website WealthWebGurus.com has had over 3,000,000 visits since inception of the site. If I include the first version of the site we’ve had hundreds of thousands of unique visitors. That just floors me. So thank you all for your continued support. As many of you know I am committed to helping people make better decisions with money whether it is about investing, taxes, retirement, estate planning or a whole myriad of other financial issues.

So where do I go from here?

Firstly, my columns will start to be released once every 2 weeks. All of my articles will be posted on my website WealthWebGurus.com.

I will be sending out a monthly newsletter, which will provide all the articles I have written that month and a little more. You will be notified when I release any new products and get the opportunity to purchase them at special rates. If you want more frequent updates, you can Twitter me

I am in the process of revamping some of my other websites www.RetireHappy.ca and www.JimYih.com. I hope to launch these new sites early in 2010.

Also in 2010, I am looking forward to launching a couple of new Books; 10 Things I Wish Someone Told Me Before I Retired and Defining Moments: The light bulb moments of my life that made me who I am today. I also plan to release a new software program called My Legacy Organizer.

So as you can see, I have lots to do and more importantly I remain committed to educating people with quality information, tools and resources to help you make better decisions with your money so you can LIVE WELL and RETIRE HAPPY. Thanks again to those that have noticed my articles were missing over the past year and especially those that wrote nice emails letting me know they miss my column.
